Introduction

Founded in March of 2015, KARO is a public charitable trust registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act of 1950.

KARO’s focus is to provide holistic healthcare and financial and emotional support to patients in need throughout their medical journey.

We take a multi-dimensional approach towards caring for patients and their families during times of pre-treatment, hospitalization, and post-care. We do this by building a loving, caring and compassionate bond that is unique to each patient and family we encounter.

Our inspiration for this trust is a personal one. When KARO’s founder was faced with the obstacle of life more commonly known as cancer, he felt first hand the mental and physical trauma one goes through when diagnosed with an illness of this severity. This obstacle sparked his desire to create an organization that made it possible to hold the hands of patients, especially children, who are navigating through a maze of doctors, prescriptions and treatments, and take care of both their financial and emotional needs.

Vision
